Updating for January

Jeep-Jeep
Well as usual I am going to start my nightly binge blogging. It has been a while since I have posted anything I will try to get caught up. Addi got a new Jeep walker for her "belated" christmas gift from her daddy and I, she loves it! It is hilarious to watch her in it. She goes backwards and forwards and drives it for real. She likes to find the t.v. and then talk to the people on the screen. Actual it is more like scream at the people on the screen. She is becoming quite a character as she is growing on along. She has recently decided that she likes to crawl but only on the bed and couch not on the floor like normal children. Go figure. The other day I set her in her crib to play while I hung up her laundry and put it in the closet and to my amazement when I turned around there she was standing up holding on to the bed rail. After my near heart attack, I went over and gave her good praise for a job well done. Boy do I have my hands full! I need to look into getting those eyes placed in the back on my head. Hopefully it isn't too expensive. She is just growing on along. We went for our 6 month check up earlier this month and she is a healthy girl. She was 17.6lbs and 26.5 inches long. Her wardrobe is scattered, it is funny to me because even though she is 6 months old she can still get into her 3-6month onsies but she needs 12month jeans for them to be long enough.

Here is the jeep driving "addison style."

Other recent updates:

Highchair Days
She is now sitting in her highchair to chow down at meals and she is one heck of a show girl. The other day we were giggling while she was eating and she would take a bite and I would laugh and then she would laugh and then I would laugh and she would laugh and then she would take another bite. This went on and on, almost the entire time she was eating. It was a good moment. She has also started making bigger messes when she eats and so obviously Baylor is stuck like a magnet to her highchair. Peas are not her fav but in order to get a well balanced pureed diet we include them. Well she figured out that she could put her hand over the side of her highchair and when it comes back it is clean. A babies best friend is no doubt a pea loving pup. Baylor and Addison will get along infamously as the battle for veggies gets more intense. As for now I take pictures of this unruly behavior and think that it is cute. My tune will change one day, I promise. Here are a few pics from the high chair/pea time we share.

Daddy Time

Daddy doesn't get to spend much time with her while he is working so we make the best of the time when they are both awake at the same time and here are a few dazzling half naked early morning shots of my tired babes.

Daddy made a funny.

Other groundbreaking moments

Well besides her figuring out how to crawl on the bed and couch and how to stand up in the crib by herself and banking on Baylor to finish off her veggies for her. She also recently learned how to try to feed herself. We have also started the sippy cup-not successfully mind you-nonetheless we have started. Lord be with me and all my laundry please. If anyone knows where the "pause" button is on these children please inform me. I feel like everytime I turn around another month has flown by and she is already doing so many new things. I have blinked and it has already been almost 7 months. Before I know it, she will be 1 year old and then I think at that point I will just have a nervous break down. Because not all of her years can go by this fast. It isn't fair! I need more time. How does this happen? p.s she has been teething like crazy, yet not a single tooth. This is worse than trying to watch a "watch pot boil" ???

Consistency
My daughter will forever and always be consistent with one thing and that is her bath time. This child is like a fish. You can bank on her everyday loving her bath time. She loves it so much and I am such a freak about not having a dirty child that she gets two baths a day. She plays and splashes and washes the floor and bites the all the squishy animals in the tub. Funny story was the other night she was playing in her little tub and we just throw all her toys in the tub with her tug boat and put the bubbles and water in and then put her in. Daniel or I, whichever is bathing usually rinses her off with her washcloth and then lays it in the tub for her to play with. Well she got a hold of it with a bunch of water in it and started to suck the water out of the wash cloth and got kinda choked up and Daniel and I were both in the room with her and it was the funniest thing because after she got choked a little she just started shaking her head like trying to "shake it off" and go at it again. She did it twice it was hilarious. We finally took the cloth away from her so she would quit torchering herself with it. My little fish I can't wait til the summer in the big pool, what will she think of it?? oh my.

She is beating her starfish up!

I just can't believe that in less than 1 week she is going to be 7 months. I just can't get over my little one already growing up so fast. She is wonderful and I would never trade a single moment with her even when I wouldn't mind pulling my hair out. She is perfect for my life and my world. Our newest thing is her sleeping in bed with me. I am having a little seperation anxiety about her going to her crib so she has been sleeping with me and I cherish falling asleep to her mumbles in her sleep and the smell of her lavendar and chamomile skin. She falls asleep with a sleep sheep and the nights I don't have her I still sleep with it on with her blanket next to me. She is what gets me through some days. To be so little she truly gives me so much strength. A blessing in disguise. I wish I could express how many times a day I think of her, it is to many that I loose count in the first hour. I LOVE HER SO!
