Tutu Thankful

This as you all know was Addison's first Thanksgiving and I just had to make it memorable! I decided to make her a tutu for this occassion. She was a hit! She had the best time in the tutu and she smiled and tried to sing to all that came her way. We started our fun filled day out in Springdale at my Aunt Beth's house. She got to play with her "Poppy" and her Great Grandma and her Grandma were there. She was a very HAPPY baby to be getting all that attention. She even managed to swindle a few bites of mashed white potatoes and some sweet potatoes off of her Great Grandma's plate. After eating she kept with the theme and passed out there shortly after taking a small 15 minute nap. We did quick pictures and then loaded up and headed on our way to make it to our next stop on time. We promtly arrived at her Grandma Vicki's house for a second go round of Thanksgiving dinner. Addison only got nasty peas at this stop; I know....I am such a mean mommy. She showed off her tutu once more for a few additional pictures, we did not get to stay for long because Daniel had to get back home to get ready for work. We had a wonderful day and all went very smoothly. No baby meltdowns along the way. I was very proud of my little one. She lights up my life, I am so thankful to have her. It seems the days go by so fast when I am with her,the time just slips away until it is night and the next day has already arrived. Yesterday was such a blessing and a considered myself so very blessed and so very thankful.

**I felt a little ashamed today when I came back to work and heard about some of my acquaintances that were not so blessed yesterday. I was so thankful and so appreciative of my own world, I forgot to pray for all those that were around me that were not doing so well. I forget the heartache and tragedy that can hit so fast and consume those lives that are so cherished by others. I realize for a lot of people this is a hard time, I pray for Daniel and his family a lot during this time of year, because I know he misses his Grandpa terribly. To all of those that have had tragedy or trying times during this season- "Bless you all for being so strong, may God wrap you and keep you in his arms to protect you from such heartache and pain. May this season come and go with thoughts and memories of cherished times with your loved ones." I am so unbelievably blessed and I am so graciously thankful for all my friends and my family. I love you all very much.

$6.50

Okay so this all came about in a seamlessly innocent way. Daniel and I took time to have lunch together sans baby one day and we went to the mall because of a craving I had, no not pregnant again. Just had to have a sandwich from there that is to die for. Anyways after we were finished, I asked if he wanted to step into the Childrens Place. This seemed funny to me at the time because we used to take the time to step into Victoria Secret...now we are reduced to viewing kids clothing for our thrills. So he picked out this hat for winter. I was thinking that it would be perfect for the winter time and it would keep her nice and toasty. So I went ahead and got it. Little did we know, she would turn out looking like the cutest thing we had ever seen. We dot on our little one in this tabogin. She is ready set....go for winter. We even got the gloves to match. This $6.50 is money well spent to put smiles on everyone she sees in this hat.

New Lessons

As anyone with children will tell you....they figure things out fast! My little girl is no different, I am loving it though. It is like she is a little mimic machine. Whatever you do she tries so hard to imitate. We have just recenetly gotten into a schedule in the evenings and after her dinner of assorted veggies on her and her bib she usually needs a bath. Since she was born she has taken to the water and sometimes I feel like it is the highlight of her day. A way to start anew and wash off the messes of the day. So are recent venture to pass the time in the evenings after bath time is to make sounds with our mouths. She quickly......and I am talking quickly......picked up the blowing with your tongue and lips sound. It is was told to me today "it maybe cute now, but just wait until she is 2 and doing it" to be honest I don't care at the moment, and that is how we are suppose to live right? In the moment. She cracks me up, every night with her play time in the bath and random acts of sillyness while we are trying to dry her off and get that so called diaper some how attached to her rear end. Here is a little clip of my silly girl. If you don't laugh a little on the inside... there is something wrong with you!

I GOT GIGGLES

Oh my....I have been letting life get the best of me, I have been so overwhelmed with things to do and get done. Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK!! holy cow. And then it is only one more month until Christmas. I have christmas cards to get out this year. Where does the time go exactly? Is it all running away and hiding and then only comes out to play when you are stuck in traffic on Rogers on a Friday night trying to get home. I mean geez louise. Okay so I am going to try to get caught up on some of my stories.

I am the proud owner of my daughters first GIGGLES!! That is right, I claim them and they are mine, all mine. They are the sweetest sound in this world and I will remember them until my last breath. She melts my heart and steals my soul. She is a love like no other and the gigles confirm it..i am the best and coolest thing she knows (well for right now that is). I made her giggle the first time by kissing in that sweet little spot right below her ear but above her neck and she let out the cutest delight in that kiss. The second time such said GIGGLES reappeared was the other night after bath time and I was blowing on her shoulder. She loved it. I tried to call Daniel but no one was there so I called Kathy up and let her listen to such sweetness. We relished in my new found talent. Addi uses her giggle power sparingly and you never know if you are going to get a smile or the sweetness giggle delight. The love of my life, I stake claim that I will forever and always try to make you giggle for it is the SWEETEST thing I have ever heard. I love baby girl.

Costumes Galore

As any true Diva will tell you, more than one outfit is required for a special occassion. Well our little "baby diva" had 3..yes 3 outfits for this one occassion. Our beautiful baby girl magically transformed through out the night to suprise everyone with her "too cute for words" cosutmes. To start out the evening she was a pumpkin, and when the time suited her we changed her into a ghost. Oh my, what a cute "boo" she was too! She soon tired of this outfit as well and decided to pee all over it, therefore demanding a new outfit. For the last outfit of the night was a "My 1st Halloween" onsie which was what she retired in for the evening. I think our little pumpkin/boo was dressed appropritately for her admirers and other various trick or treaters that came to our front door. I am sure this is only a taste of what is to come in the future. She happens to be a wonderfully spoiled baby. For she is the treat in our Halloween! Happy 1st Owl-o-ween Baby Boo! I love you.
